Bartko Pavia Attorneys Prepare Food for the Needy

On April 15, 2019, five attorneys from Bartko Pavia – Jayne Laiprasert, Gabriella Wilkins, Ben Riley, Rishi Gupta, and Steve Steinberg – volunteered as part of a larger group from the Association of Business Trial Lawyers (ABTL) Northern California chapter to prepare food for the GLIDE Meals Program. GLIDE provides over 2,000 meals a day, 364 days a year, to hungry people in the Tenderloin neighborhood of San Francisco. It depends heavily on volunteers to help provide these crucial services at a time when the need has increased greatly. The team from Bartko was happy to serve the needy, spending a few hours slicing, dicing, and preparing vegetables, chicken, burgers, and other food to be served in GLIDE’s soup kitchen. Not only was it a chance to give back to the San Francisco community, but it was also a lot of fun, and we hope to do it again with an even larger group later this year.
