As part of the National Conference of Vietnamese American Attorneys’ (NCVAA) 20th Annual Conference, Anchored in Heritage, Rising Toward Justice: Celebrating 20 Years of Vietnamese American Leadership, Bartko Pavia LLP proudly hosted and sponsored a breakfast and fireside chat this past weekend featuring two leading voices in constitutional law.
The program featured Erwin Chemerinsky, Dean of UC Berkeley School of Law, in conversation with Joseph Thai for a thoughtful discussion on constitutional issues shaping today’s legal landscape. Dean Chemerinsky is widely regarded as the most influential person in legal education today and has played a defining role in shaping national conversations around constitutional law, civil liberties, and the judiciary. The event was hosted at Bartko Pavia’s San Francisco office and welcomed attorneys, legal leaders, students, and members of the Vietnamese American legal community for a morning of meaningful dialogue and connection. Guests enjoyed breakfast and networking prior to the program, followed by welcome remarks from Bartko Pavia CEO & Co-Managing Partner An Nguyen Ruda and NCVAA leadership.
The discussion explored constitutional law, the evolving role of the legal profession, and the importance of leadership and mentorship within the legal community. As part of NCVAA’s milestone 20th Annual Conference, the event reflected the organization’s continued commitment to elevating Vietnamese American voices and fostering conversations that advance the profession and broader legal community.
Bartko Pavia was honored to support this important program and to welcome distinguished legal scholars and leaders for a conversation centered on justice, leadership, and the future of the law.
