Honors and Awards
04, August 2026
Bartko Pavia is pleased to congratulate Oliver Q. Dunlap on his appointment by The Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) as its Delegate to the American Bar Association (ABA) House of Delegates.
As BASF's Delegate, Oliver will represent the association in the ABA House of Delegates—the policymaking body of the American Bar Association—where delegates from state and local bar associations across the country work together to shape policies that influence the legal profession and the administration of justice nationwide.
Oliver succeeds Judge Russ Roeca, who served as BASF's Delegate for the past 13 years. Bartko Pavia extends its appreciation to Judge Roeca for his years of dedicated service and leadership.
This appointment reflects Oliver's longstanding commitment to advancing the legal profession through thoughtful advocacy and public service. For more than two decades, he has participated in grassroots legislative efforts through the Conference of California Bar Associations, working alongside lawyers and judges from across the state to develop and promote creative, nonpartisan proposals that improve California law and benefit the public.
Oliver's appointment continues a distinguished record of leadership within the legal community, and we congratulate him on this well-deserved honor. We look forward to the valuable contributions he will make in representing BASF at the national level through the ABA House of Delegates.
