
Ediz Kalkan is a law clerk (California Bar Results Pending) in Bartko Pavia’s Labor & Employment practice, where he counsels employers on the agreements and policies that govern their workforces and supports the firm’s litigators in employment disputes. His advisory work includes drafting employment agreements, employee handbooks, and workplace policies, as well as advising on multistate policy governance. He regularly prepares employment, separation, severance, and nondisclosure agreements. On the litigation side, Ediz has first-chaired matters in arbitration and before the California Labor Commissioner.
Ediz also supports the firm’s corporate practice, assisting with matters for domestic and international clients.
Ediz graduated cum laude from the University of California, San Diego and earned his J.D., with a concentration in Business Law, from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings). While at UC Law SF, he wrote for the UC Law Business Journal and participated in the Startup Legal Garage’s corporate module. Ediz is currently pursuing his MBA at the UC Davis Graduate School of Management.
