
Annabel is a California-qualified attorney and member of Bartko Pavia's trial team, with a practice that spans complex commercial, intellectual property and antitrust matters. Prior to joining Bartko Pavia, Annabel worked at an AmLaw100 firm, representing Fortune 500 companies in commercial and liability disputes.
Annabel commenced her legal career in Australia, clerking for Associate Justice Efthim at the Supreme Court of Victoria. She was then admitted as a barrister at the Victoria Bar, where she developed a strong complex commercial trial practice representing corporations, government entities, liquidators and high net worth individuals, often serving as second chair to leading Australian commercial counsel. Prior to moving to the United States, Annabel taught insolvency law at Melbourne Law School, a top ten global law school.
Annabel has a Master of Laws from the University of California, Berkeley, where she attended on scholarship and received the prize for legal research and writing. Her focus was on AI law and regulation, intellectual property and technology law. She speaks and writes regularly on these issues and is a founder and executive committee member of the Bar Association of San Francisco's AI and Technology Practice Section.
